Committees

Business Plan

Winchester-Clark County is a growing and thriving community and with growth comes added challenges and opportunities. Each year the Chamber presents a Program of Work to help reach our goals as an organization, serve our members and improve our community.

The Chamber is organized into five distinct committees; Health & Wellness, Business Education & Sustainability, Commerce Advocacy, Member Services and Ambassadors. We invite and encourage every Chamber member to become a part of one of these committees. Just click on the icons to find out more about each committee and their objectives.

Vision, leadership and fresh ideas will help ensure a bright future for our children. It is our desire to help promote vision, share fresh ideas and encourage leadership in order to improve the quality of life for all our citizens.

If you are a chamber member and would like to serve on one of our committees please contact the Chamber office at (859)744-6420. We`ll be glad to help you become involved!

The mission of this group is to offer an ongoing program of wellness for chamber members that encompass physical activity, proper nutrition and good mental health.  From personal trainers to medical professionals this team has the vision of creating a healthy community where people are striving to improve their health on a daily basis.

The Health and Wellness Team meets monthly to develop programs that will support the initiative of a healthy community.  The team will provide a monthly electronic calendar listing activities going on in the community with times of exercise classes, upcoming races and other health related events. We will serve as the Chamber's point of reference for wellness communications. We will advise the Chamber of competitions and activities and spearhead participation.  We will provide opportunity for feedback and recommendations.  We will strive to become the Wellness Champions for the work place.
