August Recap

August 28, 2019

August is a busy month here at the Winchester-Clark County Chamber of Commerce, and this year was no different. In addition to the ribbon cuttings, breakfasts, and lunch & learns, we've been working in the background on several projects.

BCTC Scholarships

We were able to secure seven BCTC Scholarships through our partnerships. We hope to award a few this fall, and some in the spring. Stay tuned for these announcements!

2019 Annual Golf Scramble

The 2019 Annual Golf Scramble is almost here! This is our biggest fundraiser of the year and takes a lot of coordination. Lucky for us, the Member Services Committee has got it under control. You can start your game with a Bloody Mary, lunch is provided at no charge and the Beer Cart travels around during play.  (The Beer Cart also has Water and Ale8)  Hole Sponsors provide freebies, games and players could even win a SUV by hitting a Hole In One on the a par three sponsored by Winchester Insurance. See you there!

Did you notice the new website? We've done a complete redesign and are working to update our content. The redesign makes it easier for you to find what you're looking for in Winchester and Clark County. Of course, you are always welcome to stop by our office or give us a call.
