Our Winchester-Clark County Chamber of Commerce adventure through Spain brought together quite a cast of characters! Old high school friends, longtime friends, family members, brothers and sisters, honeymooners, and a few folks who had no idea what they were getting themselves into!
Some of us had known each other for years. Others were practically strangers when we boarded that first plane. But somewhere between Madrid, Toledo, Barcelona, sightseeing, shopping, and eating our way across Spain, we became one big traveling family! We even perfected our poses like those fashionable Spanish models! Well… some of us were more convincing than others! We shared stories, learned new things, looked out for one another, and laughed our way through an unforgettable adventure.
We came to Spain for the sights, food, and culture, but discovered that sometimes the best part of traveling isn’t WHERE you go, but WHO you go with! Here’s to our fabulous 15! The trip may be over, but the friendships, memories, and stories (some of which may be better left in Spain!) will live on! ¡Salud to old friends, new friends, and the next adventure!
